If you prefer hiking, you might consider a hike across the alpine pastures above St. Jakob am Thurn. Also quite unique is the historical Schützentanz in St. Jakob am Thurn, a dance performed annually by the Jakobischützen at the traditional St. James’s Fair held on the last Sunday in July.
