The flavor of the Tennengau hill country
Cheese-making in Austria is rooted in a tradition that goes back countless generations. Especially here in the Tennengau region of Salzburg, the locals have an absolute love for a full-flavored cheese known as Tennengauer AlmKäse. The local dairies and mountain cheeseries mainly make their AlmKäse from organic milk produced by hay-fed cows.
The secret behind the good flavor: organic milk
