The Old Mill in Scheffau
The Old Mill, a historical grain mill dating back to the 17th century, was actually in regular use until 1958. Since 1975, the mill – now restored – is back in operation.
Marble Mill on the Mill Path
At the HerzArt workshop you will also encounter the Marble Mill, a replica built true to the original. The production of toy marbles was a source of extra income for farmers in former times. In past centuries, these marbles were exported around the world as a “Salzburg specialty”.
Schwarzenbach Waterfall – a natural wonder
Marvel at this natural spectacle up-close: Along the Mill Path, a separate pathway will lead you to an overlook where you can watch the masses of water plunging into the depths.
Winner Waterfall
Winner Waterfall is also one of the biggest karst springs in the Tennengebirge. Experience how the waterfall emerges from the mouth of a cave before plunging over the mountainside.
Especially during the period of the snowmelt in springtime, as well as during thunderstorms and cloud bursts in summer, the raging water of Winner Waterfall first rushes out of the cave, then falls as a mighty torrent into the depths.

Marbles, which once used to be manufactured as children’s toys and were exported around the world, can also be bought here.
