By car and train to Lammertal

By Car to Scheffau
Coming from the north (Germany):
Take the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the direction of Villach. Around 20 kilometers after Salzburg, you will come to the Golling/Abtenau exit. Then follow the B162 towards Abtenau for around 4 kilometers, at which point you will have reached Scheffau.
Coming from the south:
Take the Tauern Autobahn (A10) in the direction of Salzburg. About 20 kilometers before Salzburg, exit for Golling/Abtenau. Then follow the B162 towards Abtenau for around 4 kilometers, at which point you will have reached your destination, Scheffau.
By bus and train to Scheffau
Coming from all directions, you will need to get off the train at Golling Main Station. From here, the No. 470 bus will take you directly to Scheffau.
Driving directions to Lammerklamm Gorge
Follow the same route you took driving to Schefffau. On the B162, you will drive around 8 kilometers in the direction of Abtenau/Oberscheffau, past the Harrbergsee Recreation Area and Gasthof Lammerklause, until you come to the “Lammerklamm” car park on the left-hand side. Here you will find the entrance to Lammerklamm Gorge.
