Hier befindet sich die Pfarr- und Wallfahrtskirche Maria D\u00fcrrnberg. Die \u201eWunderbare Mutter vom D\u00fcrrnberg\u201c wird in dem pr\u00e4chtigen Gotteshaus, aus glattem rotem Marmor verehrt. Viele Besucher und Wallfahrer kommen hier her um Bu\u00dfe zu tun, F\u00fcrbitten auszusprechen oder um neue Lebensenergie zu sch\u00f6pfen. Der Blick reicht weit! Entlang der Salzach bis zur <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzburg.info\/de\">Stadt Salzburg<\/a> und noch weiter. Im Westen blickt man auf die markanten Felsformationen \u00fcber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hallein.com\/erleben\/sehenswuerdigkeiten\/historische-altstadt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hallein<\/a> &#8211; dem gro\u00dfen und kleinen \u201eBarmstein\u201c. Auch am Panorama der Osterhorngruppe ostw\u00e4rts mit dem Schlenken, dem Schmittenstein und dem Trattberg, kann man sich erfreuen. Am besten genie\u00dft man die Aussicht bei den Rastb\u00e4nken links neben der Kirche entlang der Kirchenmauer. Der Rutengeher und Salzburger Arzt Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sn.at\/leben\/gesundheit\/video-lebenswert-lesenswert-ein-geheimer-energieschub-aus-der-erde-107926861\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hans Gasperl<\/a> (i.R.) ist sich ganz sicher, dass genau an diesem Platz besondere Energien aus der Erde kommen. Gasperl nennt diese \u201eNaturmedikament\u201c und schreibt dar\u00fcber auch in seinem Buch &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.servus-buch.at\/produkt\/die-geheime-kraft-aus-der-erde\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Die geheime Kraft aus der Erde<\/a>. Wie Wasseradern und Erdstrahlen unser Leben beeinflussen&#8221; (Servus Verlag, 2018).<\/p>\n<h3>Die Kirche \u2013 ein Bauerwerk mit Geschichte<\/h3>\n<p>Im Mittelalter bl\u00fchte der Salzhandel mit dem \u201ewei\u00dfen Gold\u201c vom D\u00fcrnberg. Es war <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sn.at\/wiki\/Wolf_Dietrich_von_Raitenau\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">F\u00fcrsterzbischof Wolf Dietrich<\/a> von Raitenau der sich ein ad\u00e4quates Kirchenbauwerk f\u00fcr den damaligen \u201eHotspot\u201c des Salzbergbaues w\u00fcnschte. Die Bauarbeiten f\u00fcr das Gotteshaus im fr\u00fchbarocken Baustil begannen 1596. Wolf Dietrich lie\u00df die alte Kirche von 1498, die sich an genau der gleichen Stelle befand, abrei\u00dfen. Sein Nachfolger, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sn.at\/wiki\/Markus_Sittikus_von_Hohenems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Markus Sittikus<\/a>, weihte 1614 die fertige Kirche ein. Rupertus mit dem Salzfass und den Bergknappen\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><br style=\"clear: both\" \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Unter Erzbischof Markus Sittikus entstanden auch das imposante Marmorportal und weitere drei Kapellen, des ber\u00fchmten Renaissance-Baumeisters Santino Solari (Baumeister des Salzburger Doms). Auch der namhafte italienische Architekt <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vincenzo_Scamozzi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vinenzo Scamozzi<\/a> war an der Planung beteiligt. Bei dem gro\u00dfen Marmorportal vor der Kirche griff Markus Sittikus auf eine Kirchenarchitektur zur\u00fcck die auch f\u00fcr die Kuppel des Salzburger Doms verwendet wurde.<\/p>\n<h3>Madonnenstatue schnitzte ein Str\u00e4fling<\/h3>\n<p>Das \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.maria-duerrnberg.at\/kirche\/gnadenbild\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D\u00fcrrnberger Gnadenbild<\/a>\u201c ist die geschnitzte Madonnenstatue am Hauptaltar. Es ist das Hauptwerk der Kriche. Die Madonnenstatue soll von einem zum Tode verurteilten Str\u00e4fling in der Gef\u00e4ngniszelle geschnitzt worden sein. Der Legende nach wurde er nach der Vollendung des Werkes begnadigt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Wie geschichtstr\u00e4chtig der Wallfahrtsort und die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maria-duerrnberg.at\/pfarre\/chronik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kirchengeschichte von Maria D\u00fcrrnberg<\/a> ist l\u00e4sst sich aus der Chronik der Kirchen-Website erahnen. Auch bei angebotenen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maria-duerrnberg.at\/wallfahrt\/f%C3%BChrung-anmelden-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kirchenf\u00fchrungen<\/a> erf\u00e4hrt man einiges Interessantes zur Geschichte des Wallfahrtsortes, \u00fcber den Renaissancebau und die barocke Ausstattung der Kirche, sowie \u00fcber die unterschiedlichsten Votivgaben. Pfarrer MMag. Roman Eder feiert auch gerne den Gottesdienst mit Wallfahrer-Gruppen die ohne Priester unterwegs sind. Dazu ist allerdings eine Anmeldung erforderlich. Die heilige Messe findet jeden Sonntag um 9 Uhr statt.<\/p>\n<h3>Salzbergwerk und Sommerrodelbahn gleich um&#8217;s Eck<\/h3>\n<p>Eine Wallfahrt auf den D\u00fcrrnberg l\u00e4sst sich \u00fcbrigens auch gut mit einem Besuch im <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salzwelten.at\/de\/salzburg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salzbergwerk<\/a> oder mit dem Keltendorf verbinden. Es gibt auch eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duerrnberg.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sommerrodelbahn<\/a>. Diese Ausflugsziele sind zu Fu\u00df in knapp f\u00fcnfzehn Minuten erreichbar.<\/p>\n<h3>Wandertipp: Oberer Knappenweg<\/h3>\n<p>Auch eine kleine 2-Stunden-Wanderung entlang den Oberen Knappenweges l\u00e4sst sich wunderbar mit einem Kirchenbesuch verbinden.
