Mit ihrem Doppelgipfel ist sie einer der markantesten Berge im Gosaukamm des Dachsteinmassivs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Bischofsm\u00fctze befindet sich auf der Grenze zwischen den beiden Ortschaften Annaberg-Lung\u00f6tz und Filzmoos. Sie ist ein imposantes Wahrzeichen der beiden Gemeinden. Auf einer Bank in unserem Garten genie\u00dfe ich eine kleine Auszeit. Von hier habe ich einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Bischofsm\u00fctze. Eindrucksvoll ragt dieser markante Gipfel in der Ferne in Richtung Himmel. Bei unserem allj\u00e4hrlichen Schiurlaub in St. Martin am Tennengebirge durfte das obligatorische Familienfoto mit der Bischofsm\u00fctze am Horizont in keinem Jahr fehlen. Heutzutage genie\u00dfe ich die Wanderungen am Fu\u00dfe dieses beeindruckenden Berges. Ich erhielt \u00fcberraschend die M\u00f6glichkeit an einem Hubschrauberrundflug teilzunehmen. Direkt daneben, durch die sogenannte M\u00fctzenschlucht getrennt, befindet sich die Kleine Bischofsm\u00fctze. Die Gefahr von immer wieder auftretende Steinschl\u00e4ge bei diesem Berg verlangt gr\u00f6\u00dfte Achtsamkeit von den Alpinisten. Wie die Mitra eines Bischofes ragt sie Richtung Himmel. F\u00fcr die Namensgebung verantwortlich, waren vermutlich die Alpinisten im 19. Jahrhundert. Das Wort M\u00fctze entspricht nicht dem Wortgebrauch der Einheimischen. So wurde die Bischofsm\u00fctze zu fr\u00fcheren Zeiten von den Ans\u00e4ssigen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teufelsh\u00f6rner<\/li>\n<li>Gro\u00dfe und Kleine Zornige<\/li>\n<li>oder auch Zipfelhaube<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>genannt. Gipfel oberhalb der Waldgrenze wurden gemieden. B\u00f6se Geister und D\u00e4monen sollten dort oben herrschen. Nur die Pass\u00fcberg\u00e4nge wurden von den Menschen damals genutzt. Erst im Zeitalter der Aufkl\u00e4rung verloren die hohen Berge ihren Schrecken. Oft waren es wohlhabende Abenteurer, die erstmals die Gipfel der Alpen erklommen. Der Gipfel der Gro\u00dfen Bischofsm\u00fctze wurde dann am 28. Juni 1879 von den Ramsauer Bergf\u00fchrern Johann Schrempf (Auh\u00e4usler) und Johann Steiner bezwungen. Bis heute hat die Bischofsm\u00fctze bei den Bergsteigern nichts an ihrer Faszination verloren.
