August ist ganz Abtenau in Feierlaune!<\/h3>\n<p>Das diesj\u00e4hrige Motto der Bauernherbster\u00f6ffnung lautet <strong>&#8220;Land- und Forstwirtschaft damals und heute&#8221;<\/strong>. Ich finde den Titel sehr passend f\u00fcr unsere Gegend, da viele in unserem Ort noch von der Land- und Forstwirtschaft leben und Abtenau mit ca. 300 landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben zur gr\u00f6\u00dften Bauerngemeinde im SalzburgerLand z\u00e4hlt.\u00a0 Viele Vereine und freiwillige Helfer gestalten das Bauernherbst-Er\u00f6ffnungsfest mit. Geplant ist ein gro\u00dfer Umzug <span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #444444; font-family: 'Roboto',sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 27.2px; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none;\">durch das Ortszentrum<\/span>, aufgeteilt in die Themen <strong>Landwirtschaft<\/strong> und <strong>Forstwirtschaft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Zu Besuch bei den &#8220;alten&#8221; Holzknechten<\/h3>\n<p>Einen gro\u00dfen Teil des forstwirtschaftlichen Umzugs organisieren und gestalten Abtenauer Vereine gemeinsam mit den alten Holzknechten.<br \/>\nHeute kommt mir die Ehre zuteil, den Holzknechten bei den Vorbereitungen zur Bauernherbster\u00f6ffnung \u00fcber die Schultern zu blicken. Christian, Pep, Rupert, Wof und Hias bereiten einen der zehn W\u00e4gen f\u00fcr den Umzug vor. Eine Fuhre Holz steht schon bereit zum Beladen des alten Zugschlittens. W\u00e4hrend die anderen die Holzfuhre vorbereiten, setze ich mich mit Wof an ein kleines Tischchen. Was ich gerne wissen m\u00f6chte, fragt er mich. &#8220;Alles&#8221;, ist meine Antwort, &#8220;vom Umschneiden des Baumes bis zur fertigen Lieferung.&#8221; Gespannt spitze ich meine Ohren, z\u00fccke den Kugelschreiber, um alles zu notieren und beginne mit meinen Fragen:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Petra: Wolfgang, wann hast du mit der Holzarbeit begonnen?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-25088 size-square lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Wof-als-Forstarbeiter-von-frueher-2-180x180.jpg\" alt=\"Wof als Forstarbeiter von fr\u00fcher (c)www.abtenau-info.at\" width=\"180\" height=\"180\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Wof-als-Forstarbeiter-von-frueher-2-180x180.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Wof-als-Forstarbeiter-von-frueher-2-36x36.jpg 36w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 180px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 180\/180;\" \/>WOLFGANG: 1946 hab&#8217; ich bei den \u00d6sterreichischen Bundesforsten (\u00d6BF) die Holzarbeit begonnen. Ich war mit meiner Holzknecht-Partie, die aus sechs Holzknechten bestand, eigentlich immer in der &#8220;Sch\u00f6nau&#8221; im sogenannten Elendgraben eingeteilt. Von Montag bis Freitag waren wir dort und sind dann am Wochenende wieder nach Hause gegangen &#8211; nat\u00fcrlich alles zu Fu\u00df!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Petra: Wo habt ihr dort geschlafen?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>WOLFGANG: Es gab dort eine sch\u00f6ne Holzknechth\u00fctte, die wir behaust haben. Wenn der Arbeitsplatz jedoch mal weiter von der H\u00fctte entfernt war, blieben wir in einer &#8220;Rindenh\u00fctte&#8221;, die wir uns voher bauen mussten.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Petra: Wie sah so eine Rindenh\u00fctte aus?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-25092 size-square lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Rindenhuette-1-180x180.jpeg\" alt=\"Rindenh\u00fctte\" width=\"180\" height=\"180\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Rindenhuette-1-180x180.jpeg 180w, https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Rindenhuette-1-768x768.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.tennengau.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Rindenhuette-1-36x36.jpeg 36w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 180px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 180\/180;\" \/>WOLFGANG: Es wurde zuerst die Rinde von den Baumst\u00e4mmen gesch\u00e4lt, dann daraus eine kleine H\u00fctte gebaut. In der Mitte wurde eine Esse, also eine Feuerstelle, errichtet, wo jeder einen Feuergaul f\u00fcr seine Pfanne hatte. Im Winter kam es schon vor, dass wir den Schlafplatz erst vom Schnee befreien mussten, der durch die Spalten in die H\u00fctte durchdrang.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Petra: Das h\u00f6rt sich ja nicht unbedingt gem\u00fctlich an&#8230;Was gab\u00b4s zur St\u00e4rkung?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>WOLFGANG: Nat\u00fcrlich ein &#8220;Muas&#8221; (<em>Anm. Mehl, Salz, Wasser oder Milch vermischen und in Butter anr\u00f6sten<\/em>), oft haben wir es zweimal am Tag gegessen. Das gab einfach am meisten Kraft! Von zu Hause nahmen wir uns auch oft Kn\u00f6del oder Nudeln mit und die Speckjause zwischendurch musste auch sein. Wir haben den ganzen Tag hart gearbeitet, da verbrennt man auch viel!<\/p>\n<p>Tipp: Bei der Bauernherbster\u00f6ffnung wird auch ein &#8220;Muas&#8221;-Kocher den forstwirtschaftlichen Umzug begleiten. Dann k\u00f6nnt ihr die\u00a0traditionelle Speise verkosten!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Petra: Apropos arbeiten, kannst du mir erz\u00e4hlen wie so ein typischer Holzknecht-Arbeitstag ausgesehen hat?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>WOLFGANG: Das war nat\u00fcrlich unterschiedlich, je nachdem welche Jahreszeit gerade herrschte. Vom <strong>Fr\u00fchjahr bis Herbst<\/strong> waren wir mit der Schl\u00e4gerung besch\u00e4ftigt, im <strong>Sommer<\/strong> konnte das Holz gut trocknen, dann war es leichter bei der Lieferung. Um ca. 07.00 Uhr am Morgen gingen wir in den Wald. Es gab eine gute Aufteilung unter den Holzknechten: Zwei M\u00e4nner waren am Holzf\u00e4llen mit der 2-Mann-Zugs\u00e4ge, zwei M\u00e4nner haben die Baumst\u00e4mme geputzt, also entastet, und die anderen zwei haben mit dem &#8220;Sch\u00e4pser&#8221; (Sch\u00e4leisen) entrindet. Ein Mann hatte noch zus\u00e4tzliche Aufgaben: die H\u00fctte aufr\u00e4umen, mit dem Holzfass namens &#8220;Diadara&#8221; Wasser holen, anheizen und kochen. Diese Person wurde &#8220;Geimel&#8221; genannt. Im Winter musste der Geimel auch noch den Weg f\u00fcr die Holzr\u00fcckarbeiten vom Schnee befreien und herrichten.<br \/>\nIm <strong>Sp\u00e4therbst<\/strong> wurden die St\u00e4mme auf einen Haufen zusammengehievt, um f\u00fcr die Lieferung im Winter bereit zu sein. Den ganzen <strong>Winter<\/strong> waren wir dann mit der Lieferung besch\u00e4ftigt. Das Holz wurde auf dem Zugschlitten befestigt und mit dem Schlitten dann ins Tal gebracht. Man musste im Sommer die Lagerpl\u00e4tze schon so w\u00e4hlen, dass die Lieferung bergab erfolgte, ansonsten musste man bei den Ebenen den Schlitten wieder selber ziehen. Nur ab und zu oder in der Vorbereitung kam der Bauer mit seinem Abtenauer Noriker <em>(Anm. kr\u00e4ftiges und ausdauerndes Kaltblutpferd)<\/em> um zu helfen.<br \/>\nDie Arbeit als Holzknecht wurde zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Teil mit purer Manneskraft vollrichtet. Ein Monatslohn waren ca. 1.000 Schilling. Als Werkzeugpauschale bekamen wir noch 15% dazu, wir mussten uns ja wie gesagt die Arbeitsger\u00e4te, Fuhrschlitten und sp\u00e4ter die Maschinen selber kaufen.
