So ist es auch bei uns im Tennengauer Lammertal. Verspricht die Wettervorhersage ein paar Tage sch\u00f6nes Wetter ohne Regenschauer wird gem\u00e4ht. Beim Heuen hilft meist die ganze Familie zusammen. Die Wiesen werden gem\u00e4ht, wenn die Gr\u00e4ser hoch genug sind und sonniges Wetter herrscht. Optimal ist es, wenn die Pflanzen bereits ihre Samen verteilt haben. Nach dem M\u00e4hen wird das Gras verstreut. Nun muss die Sonne ihre Arbeit verrichten und das Ganze trocknen. Wenn das Heu auf einer Seite ged\u00f6rrt ist, wird es gewendet. So k\u00f6nnen die Halme auf allen Seiten trocknen. Am n\u00e4chsten Tag wird alles noch einmal umgedreht. Sp\u00e4ter werden mit dem trockenen Heu lange Reihen gemacht. Nun kann das getrocknete Gras in die Tenne gebracht werden. Die Rehgei\u00dfen lassen ihre Jungen anfangs in Verstecken zur\u00fcck. Nur zum S\u00e4ugen besuchen die Rehgei\u00dfe ihre Kitze. Sie wollen vermeiden, Aufmerksamkeit auf ihre Jungen zu lenken. Gut versteckt im hohen Gras passiert es leider immer wieder, dass Kitze dem M\u00e4htod zum Opfer fallen. Um die Gei\u00df zu warnen, sollte am Vortag der Rand des Feldes gem\u00e4ht werden. Sie hat so die M\u00f6glichkeit, ihr Kitz in Sicherheit zu bringen. Bei uns in Annaberg-Lung\u00f6tz hat die J\u00e4gerschaft eine Drohne gekauft. Mit dieser kontrolliert sie die Wiesen, ob Kitze im Gras versteckt sind. Mit der W\u00e4rmebildkamera werden die jungen Tiere auch im hohen Gras erkannt. Die J\u00e4ger k\u00f6nnen dann die Kitze aus dem Gefahrenbereich bringen. Eins hat sich aber nie ge\u00e4ndert: der bange Blick an den Himmel, wenn dunkle Wolken aufziehen. Schlie\u00dflich darf das Heu nicht nass werden.
