Seit seiner Entstehung hat die Geschichte des Liedes &#8220;Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!&#8221; einen spannenden Lauf genommen. Heute wird das Lied in \u00fcber 300 Sprachen gesungen. Zwei Jahre sp\u00e4ter verfasste der Lehrer Franz Xaver die Meoldie dazu. Text und Klang des Liedes sind vielen Menschen weltweit bekannt &#8211; aber weniger gel\u00e4ufig ist den meisten, dass es in Hallein sehenswertes Stille Nacht-Museum gibt.<\/p>\n<p>Im sogenannten Mesnerhaus gegen\u00fcber der Stadtpfarrkirche in Hallein wird die Entstehung des weltber\u00fchmten Liedes erlebbar: Im zweiten Stock befinden sich jene R\u00e4ume, in denen der Komponist von 1835 bis zu seinem Tod 1863 lebte. In den jetzigen Ausstellungsr\u00e4umlichkeiten k\u00f6nnen Originalinstrumente &#8211; wie die Gitarre von Joseph Mohr, auf der das Lied erstmals gespielt wurde &#8211; bewundert werden. Viele Gegenst\u00e4nde und Originalm\u00f6bel aus dem Nachlass Grubers sind ebenfalls zu besichtigen. Nach Hallein verschlug es ihn, weil er eine Stelle als Chorregent der Stadtpfarre und Organist fand. Somit hatte er f\u00fcr die geistliche Musik zu sorgen. Als er 1818 die Melodie zum Text von Joseph Mohr komponierte, konnte er nicht ansatzweise ahnen, welchen Siegeszug das Lied antreten w\u00fcrde. Eine Anfrage der K\u00f6niglich-Preu\u00dfischen Hofmusikkapelle aus Berlin an das Benediktinerstift St. Peter zur Urheberschaft des Liedes war der Grund, dass Gruber im Jahr 1854 die sogenannte &#8220;Authentische Veranlassung&#8221; verfasste, in welcher die Entstehung und die Urheberschaft des Liedes festgehalten wird. Dieses Schriftst\u00fcck kann im Original ebenfalls im Stille Nacht-Museum besichtigt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Mittlerweile wird &#8220;Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!&#8221; in \u00fcber 300 Sprachen auf dem gesamten Erdball gesungen.
