Und da ich mit Sport ohnehin nicht besonders viel am Hut habe (au\u00dfer nat\u00fcrlich Wandern und Radeln in unserer wundersch\u00f6nen Gegend :-)) habe ich mich in meinem Umfeld etwas umgeh\u00f6rt und um Tipps gebeten.<\/p>\n<p>Bei meiner Recherche bin ich dann auf Veronika Pernthaner-Maeke gesto\u00dfen und je mehr ich \u00fcber sie erfahren habe, umso sicherer war ich mir, dass sie mein \u201eLocal Hero\u201c ist. Sie ist diplomierte Krankenschwester f\u00fcr Psychiatrie und Neurologie sowie ausgebildete Langlauflehrerin und vor allem leidenschaftliche Theaterregisseurin, Schauspielerin und Autorin. Hauptberuflich arbeitet sie als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin des Salzburger Amateurtheaterverbandes, aber was sie \u201enebenbei\u201c noch so alles macht, da schlackern mir die k\u00fcnstlerische Leiterin \u00fcbernommen. Diese Gruppe ist mit Unterbrechungen schon \u00fcber 100 Jahre aktiv und selbst einen Blogbeitrag wert (was ich fix eingeplant habe). F\u00fcr den 15. April 2023 wurde n\u00e4mlich schon die Er\u00f6ffnungsfeier fixiert als Start einer prall gef\u00fcllten Er\u00f6ffnungswoche und Theatersaison.<\/p>\n<p>Den Auftakt macht Veronika selbst. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Schauspielkollegen Johann Winkler gibt sie die Kom\u00f6die \u201eDoppelfehler\u201c von Barry Creyton zum Besten. Dann folgen ein Kindertheatertag, eine vergn\u00fcgliche Lesung zum Thema Wein, ein offener Abend (wo alle Abtenauer*innen aufgefordert sind, mitzumachen), eine Bildpr\u00e4sentation \u00fcber \u00c4thiopien, verschiedene Workshops f\u00fcr Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene sowie \u201eDer Widerspenstigen Z\u00e4hmung\u201c (sehr) frei nach Shakespeare. Hier kann sie ihre Leidenschaft f\u00fcrs Theater an Menschen jeden Alters weitergeben und immer wieder neue Talente entdecken. Dazu hat sie Theaterst\u00fccke geschrieben und auch zwei Lyrikb\u00e4nde in der Edition Garamond ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Sie war begeistert von den gro\u00dfen Kultur- und Religionsst\u00e4tten, den Ausgrabungen und der grandiosen Landschaft, andererseits aber auch entsetzt \u00fcber die scheinbar allt\u00e4gliche Armut.<br \/>\nW\u00e4hrend die Reisegruppe diverse Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten besuchte, lernte sie in verschiedenen St\u00e4dten Kinder und Erwachsene kennen, die sie in ihre H\u00fctten einluden und von ihrem Leben berichteten. Nach der R\u00fcckkehr aus diesem Urlaub war f\u00fcr Veronika klar, dass dort noch mehr f\u00fcr sie zu tun war. Also packte sie ein halbes Jahr sp\u00e4ter ihre Koffer, nahm viele Buntstifte und Spielutensilien mit und traf sich in Addis Abeba mit einem einheimischen Arzt, den sie auf der ersten Reise kennengelernt hatte. Gemeinsam arbeiteten sie im subtropischen Westen \u00c4thiopiens in der kleinen Krankenstation Kubito und versorgten mehrere umliegende D\u00f6rfer.<\/p>\n<p>Doch das war Veronika nicht genug. Die medizinische Versorgung reichte ihr nicht, denn die Schicksale vor allem der Frauen und Kinder dort ersch\u00fctterten sie sehr. Sie wollte mehr bewirken und suchte nach unterschiedlichen M\u00f6glichkeiten der Hilfe. Seit dieser Zeit sind mehr als 10 Jahre vergangen, in denen sich viel getan hat.<\/p>\n<p>Veronika gr\u00fcndete den Verein \u201eBuntstifte\u201c und sammelt seither flei\u00dfig Spenden mit Hilfe von\u00a0Bildervortr\u00e4gen, Benefizveranstaltungen, Weihnachtsm\u00e4rkten\u00a0und Schulveranstaltungen.<\/p>\n<p>Jeder Cent, den sie dabei verdient, geht zu 100% zu den bed\u00fcrftigen Menschen in \u00c4thiopien. Ihre Arbeit und die der Vereinsmitglieder ist ehrenamtlich und alle Aufwendungen und Reisekosten bezahlen sie selbst.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div id='av-masonry-5' class='av-masonry Buntstiften schon viel bewirken:<\/p>\n<p>In der Kreativschule gibt es neben Lesen, Schreiben und Rechnen f\u00fcr Kinder, Jugendliche und Frauen auch Malen, Basteln, Spielen, Singen, Tanzen und nat\u00fcrlich Theater. F\u00fcr Binnenfl\u00fcchtlinge mit einer anderen \u00e4thiopischen Muttersprache wird \u201eAmharik\u201c angeboten, das ist die Sprache, die in Addis Abeba und vor allem auch auf den \u00c4mtern gesprochen wird. Das Haus der Kooperative wurde gebaut. Die Frauen werden in verschiedensten b\u00fcrokratischen Belangen unterst\u00fctzt und in Kleingruppen werden Ausbildungen angeboten wie z.B.: Bienenzucht und Imkerei, Auswahl und Aufbewahrung von Saatgut, Getreideanbau, Getreidevermarktung, Bodenpflege nach der Ernte, Lagerung nach der Ernte, Verwaltung von Einnahmen und Eigentum, Grundrechenarten, Grundlagen im Kleinhandel, Bauen von holzsparenden \u00d6fen, Kleing\u00e4rten anlegen, Hausbrunnen bauen, Seifenherstellung aus Aloe Vera und vieles mehr.<\/p>\n<p>Der Verein bezahlt vielen Familien Mietzusch\u00fcsse und stellt Grundnahrungsmittel zur Verf\u00fcgung. Damit werden die Frauen vom massiven existenziellen Druck befreit und k\u00f6nnen sich in ihrer Erwerbsarbeit weiterentwickeln bzw. ausbilden lassen damit sie in Zukunft auf eigenen Beinen stehen. Au\u00dferdem werden sie in der Berufswahl und mit Startkapital f\u00fcr Arbeitsmaterialien unterst\u00fctzt. Kinder und Jugendliche werden in allen Bildungsbelangen gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div id='av-masonry-6' class='av-masonry av-3wgl6bt-9cce9c4bd93b4708575f8c92b9385894 noHover Waschmaschine f\u00fcr das Waisenhaus kaufen, Getreide und impr\u00e4gnierte Getreides\u00e4cke kaufen, die Imkerei mit zus\u00e4tzlicher Setzung von geeigneten Pflanzen und Errichtung weiterer Bienenst\u00f6cke verbessern, die Erzeugung der Aloe Vera-Seife unterst\u00fctzen, weitere holzsparende \u00d6fen errichten, kleine Sonnenkollektoren f\u00fcr Lichtstrom installieren, kleine Hausbrunnen f\u00fcr Sammelwasser errichten und vor allem in Bildung und Gesundheit investieren.<\/p>\n<p>Denn die Hilfe wird dringend gebraucht. COVID, Wirtschaftskrise und B\u00fcrgerkrieg versch\u00e4rfen die Not der ohnehin armen Menschen noch weiter. Die Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr Einkommen aus selbst\u00e4ndiger Arbeit sind schlecht und Anstellungen kaum zu bekommen. Die Wirtschaft ist durch den B\u00fcrgerkrieg eingebrochen, dazu str\u00f6men Fl\u00fcchtlinge aus den Kriegsgebieten nach Addis Abeba, wodurch die Verelendung versch\u00e4rft wird. Die Inflation 2022 betrug 37%. Die Teuerung betrifft vor allem Treibstoff und damit Transport, wodurch die Lebensmittelpreise in den St\u00e4dten explodieren. Dazu wirkt sich der europ\u00e4ische Krieg auf den Weizenpreis aus. Br\u00fccken sind mir lieber als Z\u00e4une, Fremdes macht mich neugierig und Neues will ich lernen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was ist f\u00fcr dich das Besondere am Tennengau?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Da ist einerseits das Tennengebirge als mein unmittelbares Heimatgebirge, dieser schroffe Kalkstock mit dem unfassbar sch\u00f6nen Plateau und auf der anderen Seite der Gosaukamm, dessen Umrundung f\u00fcr mich zu den sch\u00f6nsten Wanderungen z\u00e4hlt. Das Ganze wird durch die sanfte Osterhorngruppe mit dem Postalmgebiet abgerundet. Ich denke, dass mich diese abwechslungsreiche und auch fordernde Umgebung gepr\u00e4gt hat. \u2013 \u00a0Nach steilen Anstiegen kommen die gro\u00dfen Gl\u00fccksmomente.<\/p>\n<p>Der Tennengau ist durch das Theater Abtenau aber auch meine kulturelle Heimat. Diese Theatergruppe mit so vielen besonderen Menschen ist in sich eine Art Heimat f\u00fcr mich.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tennengau ist f\u00fcr dich \u2026. ? (kurzes Schlagwort) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der zeitlose Ort meiner Wurzeln<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was ist dein Lieblingsplatzerl \/ Kraftort im Tennengau? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Gipfel des Einbergs<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erz\u00e4hle uns deine lustigste Anekdote \/ Kindheitserinnerung<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sackrutschen auf der Rochernleitn mit dem Nachbarbuben Gusti<\/p>\n<p>Wir waren wohl so im Schulanf\u00e4nger-Alter. Meine Eltern haben f\u00fcr uns im Winter oft gro\u00dfe Plastiks\u00e4cke mit etwas Heu gef\u00fcllt (heute w\u00fcrde man sie \u201eBio-Rodel\u201c nennen). Damit sind wir \u00fcber die schneebedeckte \u201eRochernleitn\u201c runtergerutscht, so auch an diesem Winternachmittag. Der Hang war pickelhart, unser Mut gr\u00f6\u00dfer als die Kontrolle \u00fcber den fahrbaren Untersatz, wir sind immer h\u00f6her raufgelaufen,\u00a0 und so hat es uns irgendwann \u00fcberschlagen und wir sind ein ganzes St\u00fcck auf unserer Haut runtergerutscht. Dem Gusti hat es das Gesicht abgesch\u00fcrft und mir die Nase und die Hand, Blut \u00fcberall. Heute w\u00fcrden besorgte Eltern wohl zum Arzt eilen, wir beide hingegen haben versucht, den Unfall zu verheimlichen. Wir hatten viel mehr Angst vor der R\u00fcge der Eltern als Schmerzen oder Schrecken \u00fcber die Verletzungen. Also haben wir uns ins Badezimmer geschlichen und ganz leise gewaschen und abgetrocknet. Die W\u00e4rme hat unsere Wunden so richtig zum Bluten gebracht, die Handt\u00fccher wurden zu unbestechlichen Zeugen. Das Malheur ist dadurch nicht gerade kleiner geworden, aber ich habe dabei vielleicht erstmals etwas \u00fcber Physiologie gelernt. Vor allem aber haben mein Nachbarbub und ich bis heute immer eine fr\u00f6hliche Erinnerung, wenn wir uns sehen. Die Narbenpunkte auf der Hand sind erst seit ein paar Jahren verschwunden, ein bisschen war es mir drum leid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wof\u00fcr interessierst du dich am meisten?<\/strong><br \/>\nKultur interessiert mich in gro\u00dfer Vielfalt.
