Ein weiterer Grund, warum wir sehr gerne Zeit dort verbringen, ist die unmittelbare N\u00e4he von zu Hause. Vom n\u00f6rdlichen Tennengau, wo wir wohnen, ist der Zoo in nur wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Obwohl mein Sohn und ich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig den Salzburger Zoo besuchen, freut er sich immer wieder aufs Neue die Tiere so nahe beobachten zu k\u00f6nnen. Auf dem 14 Hektar gro\u00dfen Zoogel\u00e4nde haben rund 1500 Tiere (150 Arten) ihr Zuhause. Aufgeteilt ist der Zoo in vier Regionen mit den dort lebenden Tieren: Eurasien, S\u00fcdamerika, Australien und Afrika. Aber keine Sorge, der Zoo ist sehr \u00fcbersichtlich und nicht allzu gro\u00df. Je nach Lust und Zeit kann man dort einfach eine Spazierrunde mit dem Kinderwagen drehen oder einen Tagesausflug mit gr\u00f6\u00dferen Kindern unternehmen. Der Zoo ist mit Kindern jeden Alters definitiv einen Besuch wert. Gerne l\u00e4uft er selber oder wir borgen uns einen Bollerwagen aus. Es gibt auch einen Streichelzoo, in dem die Tiere gestreichelt und gef\u00fcttert werden k\u00f6nnen. Das Futter ist an der Kassa zu kaufen. Wer Lust hat, kann im begehbaren Wellensittichgehege die V\u00f6gel f\u00fcttern. Das K\u00f6rnerfutter kann f\u00fcr 50 Cent aus einem Automaten gelassen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Bei so viel Tiere-F\u00fcttern bekommt mein Sohn sehr oft selber Hunger. Unsere Jause genie\u00dfen wir entweder auf den Parkb\u00e4nken oder ausgewiesenen Picknick-Pl\u00e4tzen. Manchmal g\u00f6nnen wir uns auch im Zoo-Restaurant &#8220;Das Zoo&#8221; eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Das Restaurant ist sehr kinderfreundlich ausgestattet, auch Hochst\u00fchle sind vorhanden.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem Essen ist der Tank von meinem kleinen Energieb\u00fcndel wieder voll aufgeladen. Im Zoo gibt es auch einige M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Spiel und Bewegung. Die Rutsche beim Streichelzoo ist ebenso unterhaltsam wie die verschiedenen Foto-Stationen oder interaktiven R\u00e4tsel- und Informationstafeln. Mein Sohn verbringt im Moment sehr gerne Zeit bei der Baggerstation gegen\u00fcber vom Restaurant oder in der Sandkiste beim Kletterspielplatz. Das Angebot ist sehr umfangreich und vielseitig. Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Kinder k\u00f6nnen auch ihren Kindergeburtstag im Zoo feiern oder an Ferienprogrammen teilnehmen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n<div  class='flex_column An der Anifer Kreuzung biegt man links ab, folgt der Hellbrunnerstra\u00dfe bis nach circa 2 Minuten Fahrzeit auf der rechten Seite der Salzburger Zoo erscheint.
