FOODS FROM MODERN ALPINE FARMS
Tennengau Mountain Lambs are born and raised in the region. One reason the meat is of such high quality is the fact that the lambs are kept with their mothers, in a setting that is as close to natural as possible. With an average flock consisting of around 20 mother sheep, sheep farming in Tennengau has nothing in common with industrial farming.

- Tennengau "GenussWochen": at the end of May, you will have the chance to visit our Mountain Lamb producers and convince yourself of the quality of this marvelous meat. During this week, you will also have plenty of opportunities to learn all about our region and the Tennengau AlmKäse cheeses & Mountain Lamb that have made it so famous.
- Tennengau AlmKäse Fest: in the middle of June, hike up to one of Tennengau's cheese huts, where they await you with a mouthwatering selection of local products.
