The Best of the Tennengau Region
The true taste of a holiday in SalzburgerLand
Austria is a country famous far beyond its own borders for the exceptional quality of its foods. Hardly any wonder, then, when a number of years ago the Ministry of Food and Agrarmarkt Austria Marketing GesmbH established the initiative "GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH". Since then, 111 culinary regions have been recognized in Austria – 10 of those in SalzburgerLand. And that includes Tennengau.
The Tennengau Region has all kinds of treats and culinary highlights in store for its guests. The region has been officially recognized for its AlmKäse cheese and Tennengau Mountain Lamb. And it's good to know: Only the best products are allowed to be labeled "GENUSS REGION ÖSTERREICH". Continuous inspections based on stringent criteria guarantee the reliable quality of products. But don't just take our word for it. Come try them for yourself!
