Salt gave the city and province their names.  The "Salt Prince", Wolf Dietrich, turned the ancient treasure hidden in deep in the Dürrnberg, into halls of shimmering marble.

As visitors embark on the long miners' slides, take the underground mine train, enjoy a subterranean raft ride and visit the Celtic Village, there is sure to be no end to the fun and excitement.
