Leaving from the Engelhartswirt in Scheffau, this hike through the forest and along the banks of a stream, is especially recommended on hot summer days.  Signs along the trail detail interesting facts about the individual trees and their uses.  In spring, it is definitely worth taking a detour to the Winnerfall falls, impressively swollen by the waters of the snowmelt.

Highlight of the walking tour is the "Old Mill", the only one of 3 original grain mills still to be preserved.  A marble mill, true to original plans, was constructed next to it.
