Trattberg-Almen Hiking Area

Once on the Trattberg, you will come upon one of the most beautiful and family-friendly hiking areas in the entire SalzburgerLand. This is a wonderful place to set out on an array of hikes through the Osterhorn mountains, from Hintersee out to Abtenau. Numerous inns on the Trattberg invite you to stop in and enjoy a few relaxing moments.
From St. Koloman, you can make your way back to the Trattberg either via Wegscheid, taking the turn-off for the Seewaldsee, or by walking from the village square in St. Koloman to the Sommerau. The toll road on the Trattberg is open from May until October.
