The Hochreithalm is a popular excursion destination close to Golling. As they visit the Hochreithalm and Bachrain Inns, the children will find plenty of space to run around and play, while the parents can savor home-made delicacies and soak in the views of the Tennengebirge, Hagengebirge, Steinernes Meer and Hoher Göll mountains.
You can either take your car and drive directly to Hochreith, or leave your car on the side of the road to the Berghof Bachrain and enjoy a short, easily tackled hill-country hike. A hike from the Gasthof Hochreith to Bachrain is also possible.
